TIES THAT BIND
SAM AN CHLOE ARE PACKING HER THINGS TO GO TO HER GRANDPARENTS
Sam: "How ya doing, baby girl?"
Chloe: "Mommy, I don't wanna leave you."
Sam: "Here. C 'mere (Chloe goes to sit with Sam). I know you don't. It's just going to be for a little while, okay?"
Chloe: "How come we can't all live together? You, me, Angel, Grandma and Grandpa?"
Sam: "Because we have our house and Grandma and Grandpa have their house. You know, before you know it, you and I are going to be back together again."
Chloe: "Promise?"
Sam: "I promise (Sam hugs Chloe). I love you, Chlo."
Chloe: "Love you too."
ANGEL COMES IN TO LET SAM KNOW THAT CHLOE'S GRANDPARENTS ARE WAITING DOWNSTAIRS. CHLOE SAYS GOODBYE TO ANGEL AND SAM AND CHLOE GET IN THE ELEVATOR. SAM HOLDS CHLOE AND KISSES HER.
Sam: "We'll be together soon, Chlo. I promise you, sweetie."
SAM IS SITTING AT HOME ON THE COUCH READING WHEN CHLOE COMES IN
Chloe: "Mom, have you seen my other slipper?"
Sam: "Uhhhh...uh, Chlo (Sam points to a blue slipper lying next to Chloe's Panda Bear and they both laugh). Weren't you suppose to tell me a story tonight (Chloe comes and sits down next to Sam)?"
Chloe: "You promised me a story."
Sam: "I did?"
Chloe: "Uh-huh."
Sam: "Oh, okay. Let's see (Chloe lies her head on Sam's shoulder). Once upon a time, there was a little girl named...uh...Chloooee Waters (Sam tickles Chloe and they laugh together) and her mother loved her very much (Sam holds Chloe in a tight hug)."
