SUM OF HER PARTS
SAM IS DRIVING CHLOE TO SCHOOL AND THEY STOP IN FRONT OF THEIR NEW HOUSE
Chloe: "I have to be at school in eight minutes."
Sam: "It's definitely a bomb."
Chloe: "The Bomb."
Sam: "Oh (Sam laughs)."
Chloe: "So, why can't we?"
Sam: "There are a lot of reasons why we should. It's just...hard right now."
Chloe: "Whenever I have a tough decision to make, you always say, 'if you know down deep that something is right, it's right.' Take your own advice, Mom."
Sam: "Advice is like a Christmas gift. It's better to give than to receive. Your Dad told me that once."
Chloe: "So, that's why this is hard."
Sam: "I think about him even when I don't know it. But there are a few days in the year when it's just really... (Sam's voice breaks)"
Chloe: "Sarah Kenson's father died and they go to visit him at the cemetary a lot. How come you don't visit Dad?"
Sam: "Because that's not where he is (Sam's voice is shakey and she puts her hand over her heart). I guess it's just the idea of going to a new place and starting over and knowing that he's not going to be part of it."
Chloe: "But he will be (Chloe puts her hand over her heart)."
Sam: "Oh, Chlo (Sam kissed Chloe on the top of her head)."
